A Post for 2/29
While I'm extremely tired from working the morning shift, I'm going to fight sleep and make write an entry. It will be a few years until I have the privilege of making a note on the 29th of February again.
Unfortunately, I have nothing of major importance to speak of. Well, I take that back, maybe I do. I would like to say, "Good Luck" to the Oswego Lakers. This Saturday the Lakers will be in a position they know all too well. They will be playing for the SUNYAC Championship against the Plattsburg Cardinals. Oswego always has a difficult time defeating Plattsburg. It usually does not matter what either team's standing are, the game between these two rivals is usually full of excitment and energy.
Michele and I thought for a second about going. Unfortunately it would turn out to be too much of a time commitment to make it happen. It's almost a 4 hour trip in one direction, plus the game, plus dinner, etc. I'm sure it is well worth it, but I have too many other projects to work on this weekend. So, I will be listening, and cheering on the Lakers while sitting by the radio and listening to the play by play on WNYO.

Go Lakers! I’m bumming that we aren’t going also, but we’ll be there in spirit. Is our favorite Wookie going?

Go Lakers—hope they have better luck than Harding–lost, but just by a little–a very exciting game.. Let us know how the Lakers do–by the way, did you see how Clarkson did? Dad is happy!! Love, Mom

I wish there was a team I could support around here…but sadly, I just can’t shake the Buffalo in me….
