Parting gifts
I had a great staff at WRVO. I say "had" since Friday June, 22nd was my last day with WRVO since beginning to work there as a student 12 years ago. It's interesting to see how people pick up on some things after working with them for awhile. I was handed several wonderful gifts including a poster of an Oswego sunset to hang on the wall at our new apartment in Pennsylvania, some coffee mugs, a mouse pad with a screen shot of a computer program I used to work with at the station frequently and then this:
The staff all chipped in and purchased me two gift cards. One to Macys and another gift card to Sheetz. In order to get to those gift cards, I need to defeat the pinball machine by getting three balls into a hole toward the top of the game which unlocks the drawer where the cards are. The staff knowing how I love pinball machines decided to make me work for my gift. Pretty clever!

Haha, brilliant! HBurg is about 1-1.5 hours away from where I’m at. We should meet up sometime, either on each other’s turf or in the middle.
