Chicago 2010
Michele and I took a vacation over to Chicago to take in some of the sights and visit with my brother Ben. As an added attraction, we took along my parents for the ride. We saw 43 different state plates, 5 Canadian provinces, and 1 Mexican state along I-80 for the 800 or so miles on that highway. Now a few photos from our trip:

Looking for warmth…
It's cold outside (but not snowing.) It's also cool inside. Here's Patti staying warm by taking a seat on Michele's Mac Mini™.

Honeymoon Planning
Last week Michele and I attended a local ski show and sale. Michele walked away with a good deal on a new set of skis, poles, boots, and a helmet. All we have to do is get the bindings installed on the skis and she'll be set to ski (well some snow will help too.)
Meanwhile, we are putting the finishing touches on our honeymoon trip. We're off to ski at Crested Butte Mountain Resort in early January. The plane tickets have been purchased, a rental car has been arranged, and my family's wedding gift to us was a week at a condo at the resort. A few odds and ends remain, including how to ship our skis out west but that concern can wait until we get a little closer to the trip.
The cool crisp fall air is a nice tease to a hopefully busy ski season for us!

Another Wedding
Another weekend, another trip. This weekend took us to another wedding. Michele was a bridesmaid in this ceremony. Michele's friend, Whitney was marrying her boyfriend of many years, Keith. Whitney was a reader in our wedding. The wedding took place at the day camp where the two had worked many years in high school:
