Listener Supported
It is time for yet another fundraiser at my station. Meanwhile, the governor has announced some major cuts in the state budget. It is yet to be seen what affect that will have on our operations. I'm hopeful listeners will still support us, despite drawbacks from other sources. We'll see what happens.

Heat On
Well, I did all the resisting I could. At 5:30pm today, I moved the thermostat from Off to Heat. The landlord installed a nice timer based thermostat so I can set times for the heat to come on and off automatically. Up until this point, it has been navigating through the cycle but not having the ability to turn the heat on because I disabled it. This has been the case since some time in early April when it was deemed unnecessary to heat the house anymore. Here it is mid October and I'm turning the heat on. It was in the upper 30s outside and it has been in the mid 50s inside the house. I have gotten enough glares from my wife that it was time to make it comfortable in the house again. I'm told it is supposed to warm up to the 60s next week...so maybe we'll be turning the heat back off for a few weeks...ha. This isn't that big of a deal, I welcome the snow. I want to ski!

More wedding bells…
Another family wedding occurs later this week. Peter and Meghan tie the knot on Saturday. I can't believe it's already here. It seemed far off in a distance after our wedding, and now it's time. Yay Pete and Meg!
