Chicago 2010
Michele and I took a vacation over to Chicago to take in some of the sights and visit with my brother Ben. As an added attraction, we took along my parents for the ride. We saw 43 different state plates, 5 Canadian provinces, and 1 Mexican state along I-80 for the 800 or so miles on that highway. Now a few photos from our trip:

OK Go!
Michele and I joined my younger brother at an OK Go concert down in Ithaca at The Haunt this past Sunday. Here are a few blurry photos from my iPhone:
Ok Go takes the stage. Michele, Mark, and I are not too far back from the stage. It's a pretty small venue.
Lots of confetti! They had a confetti gun shooting into the air frequently throughout the show to add a little flair.
Just to be different, they put the guitars down and did one of their songs using hand bells. That was fun.
Lots of confetti to clean up at the end of the concert.
This photo was not taken by me. It was taken by the band during the concert. Click on the image to see a slightly larger image. I circled what I believe to be me. It's been awhile since I've been to a concert. What a fun time! I have some video too, maybe if I feel ambitious I will post that too.

Hockey Night in Oswego
Another hockey season, another white out. SPOILER ALERT: Oswego won. It was very exciting. Here are a few photo's from Saturday's game:
- To get in, the wait started here…
- The line continues…
- …and going..
- …going…

- Time out Plattsburgh…looking for last minute heroics.
I start with photos of the line to get in. This is to illustrate the intense interest in the game. The game was sold out last Monday, but it was important for standing room only, and student ticket holders to get there early to get a good spot. It's not like this for most games. There was 3,000 people in attendance. Games normally average between 1,800, and 2,200.
It was a good contest between the two arch-rivals. Oswego came out and got their first point 40 seconds into the game! Despite the initial adrenaline rush, it was a close game throughout, and a great time. Plattsburgh had a difficult time trying to tie the game in the moments of the game because they were assessed a "Too Many Men on the Ice" penalty. Ouch! Here's the last few moments of the game:
With that, there are only a handful of games left in the regular season. Plattsburgh is likely a team Oswego will see again in the post season.

Now, back to the wedding
This seems like the never ending wedding photo feed. Well, one of these days we'll get them all out. It's a bit difficult to push them all at the same time. Thus, I have these 8 to 10 photo posts. In the end you'll be able to piece together a whole day's worth of wedding photos. It may be the 1 year anniversary (oops grammar mistake!) this May, when I get this completed. In any case:
- Mark on the Trumpet
- The mother of the groom
- The mother of the bride
- Lighting the unity candle
- Simon and Gabe with the rings
- Dad and Michele enter the church
- View from the balcony
More to come...soon!
