The right tool…

All the snow has melted. The large snow banks have left piles of pebbles and dirt all over the front of the lawn. There's so much dirt! You can't even see the dead grass underneath. A rake does not appear to help either. The rake manages to pull the grass out and leave the dirt behind.  So, I bought a push broom. I needed one anyway to clean the driveway and garage. It seemed to work. I can actually see grass. I looked silly sweeping...grass, but it worked.

Obsolete Encyclopedia

Thanks to modern technology, a website is collecting input from anyone worth adding their 2 cents. The website is called Obsolete Skills Wiki. There you will find descriptions of skills that are no longer useful.  For instance, using carbon paper to make a copy.  I think the last time I used carbon paper was for .... hmmm. I'll have to think about this. I know I've used carbon paper before but it has been awhile.  Actually for awhile my checks were coming with something that looked like carbon paper so I had copies of my checks...is that the same thing?

Anyway, this website is a wiki, meaning you can add your own useless skill. This website can only be good for the fact that we can look back and admire how far we've come. Thanks to modern technology, there isn't random thin dark sheets of paper laying around.  What an age we live in!
